Christmas Cake for the BBC

Mid June and the phone rings...order placed: a Christmas cake for a new BBC cookery programme. How exciting!!

I can't provide any more details at the moment (sworn to secrecy) but will post more info closer to Christmas. All I can say is that the delivery was potentially my most bizarre cake experience yet! Hidden deep in the Sussex countryside, was a house completely decked out for Christmas, complete with tree, presents and lots of Christmassy smells. Walking out from this winter wonderland into the warm sun and garden in full bloom had my senses utterly confused!

This order was completely unexpected, but, as every cake is hand made, its no problem to create a traditional Christmas cake in June. So... whatever you want, however unusual, get in touch!

This Christmas cake is a brandy fed rich fruit cake with a traditional holly wreath decoration. The decorations are 100% edible.
