Pink Hydrangea Wedding Cake at The Lansdowne Club in Mayfair, London

Congratulations to my beautiful sister and her husband Björn!

They were married in Farm Street church in Mayfair, London and had their reception in the Lansdowne Club, after a little stroll through Green Park. There were pink hydrangea flowers in the bride's bouquet and scattered throughout their wedding so I decided to decorate their wedding cake with hand crafted pink hydrangea flowers.

The cake itself was four tiers high and each tier was a different flavour. There was a vanilla sponge with raspberry jam and vanilla buttercream, a lemon sponge with citrus buttercream, a rich fruitcake infused with brandy and... a chocolate cornflake cake! (A childhood favourite that brought on lots of great memories!)

I was so proud to be able to make this wedding cake for my gorgeous sister and new husband, and so happy that their day went perfectly. Congratulations again sis xx
